JAMMU, Apr 26:Dr Arun Manhas, Director, Industries and Commerce Jammu, after proper discussions with Comm/Secy. I&C, Vikramjit Singh, chaired a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee at Udyog Bhawan, Jammu.
The meeting witnessed the presence of key officials, including Joint Director (Development), Deputy Secretary, and Administrative Officer, who were part of the DPC as official members, who conducted a comprehensive review of the service records, performance reports, and eligibility criteria of the employees under consideration for promotion.
After detailed deliberations and thorough scrutiny, the Committee approved the promotion of 20 employees belonging to various cadres and functional levels, which involve elevation to the next higher posts along with the release of corresponding grades in favour of the promoted employees.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Arun Manhas urged all the promoted employees to work with renewed energy, dedication, and responsibility & emphasized that promotions bring new challenges and greater accountability, and expressed hope that the employees would continue to contribute effectively towards achieving the department’s objectives.
The successful conduct of the DPC has boosted the morale of the workforce and reinforced their commitment towards serving the department with increased zeal.
