New Delhi, Apr 16:It is very much clear from AICTE & UGC Guidelines regarding various clarifications on online or correspondence degrees regarding their legality or illegality but some J&K Officers never bothered to read & act accordingly especially in Engineering Departments.
It is very much clear from AITE Guidelines that as Engineering Diploma & degrees requires practical trainings, hence such diploma/degrees through online or correspondence be not treated as legal but JKUT's Engineering Departments if closely verify such degrees/diplomas & that also without any due permissions/leave shall detect an another scam.
UGC has also directed higher education institutions for non-enrolment of foreign nationals in ODL programmes. The Commission clarifies that only learners residing in India are eligible for enrolment in ODL programmes.
The University Grants Commission has issued a public notice warning against fake online degree programmes with misleading acronyms or abbreviations used by fraud individuals and organisations to offer programs similar to those recognized by the Commission.
Among these deceptive programs, the “10-Day MBA” has come under particular scrutiny, however copy with CTN reads as under:-
