Jammu, March 06: It is to mention here that once upon a time Govt released Rs 579 Lakhs at the disposal of the Shaleen Kabra, FCR on 07.12.2022 for "payments of delineation of Gair Mumkin Khad lands but it was surrendered , why stands unutilized , otherwise payments would have been made for the said job & issue would have reached somewhere.
The contractor, after running here & there, approached the Honble Court for his payments following which High Court ordered to release the payments as per letter of Div Com Jammu dated 06.12.2023, which otherwise reads with details amounting to Rs 3.01 crores along with work done & kanals of land cleared as per communications of DCs.
But as usual Govt did not comply the court orders following which contempt was filed & Court ordered to deposit the work done amount in the Registry by the next date & clearly reads of Rs 3.01 crores.
Now question of enquiry is that if Court & Div Com Jammu have agreed to the work done as recommended by DC Kathua, Samba & Jammu, why these thousand of Kanals of Gair Mumkin Khad Lands not cleared on ground by FCR or Revenue Secretary? Why this huge amount Of crores wasted & why not actions be taken on the concerned officers for not clearing lands after recommendations of so many Kanals?
As per Affidavit filed by Rajeev Ranjan, Secretary Revenue submitted in High Court on 03.01.2025 clearly raise questions on FCR & as well as of all Revenue Officers for creating hinderances in deciding the self created issue of Gair Mumkin Khad Lans for which Govt has itself agreed of work done of Rs 3.01 Crore.
Need to be enquired , work done was of total 2.46 lakh Kanal has been being certified but how many Private Lands have been cleared & if not why not cleared despite clearance by three DCs & Div Com Jammu.
Secretary's Affidavits dtd 25.01.2025 clearly reads that Rs 579 Lakh was released to FCR in 2022-23 & 23-24 & if was released why FCR slept over it if Div Com Communicated in Dec 2023 for the work done of Rs 3.01 crore after details from DCs with specific Kanals of land, raise questions on FCR J&K.
Even MLAs in J&K Assembly raised questions on Thursday , why not a single case cleared in Jammu.
