DODA, MARCH 06: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh, chaired a meeting with revenue officials to review land management, revenue services, and pending cases. The meeting focused on Jan Sugam services, JK Samadhan grievances, court cases, and the ongoing agriculture census. Special emphasis was placed on the SVAMITVA scheme, which aims to provide rural property ownership.
Officials were asked to submit an updated status report by Monday.
The DC directed immediate retrieval of encroached state, Kahcharai, and Roshni land and removal of illegal constructions along Nallahs in Doda and Bhaderwah.
Tehsildars were also tasked with identifying land for a vehicle trial ground, sewage treatment plant, and school buildings for rent-based government schools.
Revenue officials were instructed to resolve pending court cases on priority and ensure accurate land records. Notices will be issued to individuals encroaching on Nallahs.
