SRINAGAR, Feb 15: Jammu and Kashmir Government said it has initiated an inquiry against a private school for operating beyond 8th Standard without recognition and jeopardizing students careers.
The issue was highlighted after the JKBOSE rejected the examination forms of 22 students who were set to appear in the class 10 examinations.
Thereafter it was noticed that the school was recognized only up to Class 8 and has been operating without registration for Classes 9 and 10 & has been going on for years.
Noticing the issue Minister Sakina Ittoo has ordered an inquiry to ascertain how the school was functioning this way.
Sakina said “I am closely & seriously watching the issue for last 3 days, the future of the 22 students of class 10th shall be secured.
Action against those who have played with the future of these students shall be taken.
Will ensure that these students are allowed to appear in the exams.”
