New Delhi, Jan 15: MLA Kathua Dr. Bharat Bhushan met Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh ji in New Delhi and raised issues of development of Kathua constituency.
The issues raised included upgradation and improvement of facilities in Kathua Railway Station , establishment of alternate Railway Station in Kathua town , construction of open flyover by NHAI in Kathua from Medical College Kathua to Logate Morh on the pattern of Samba flyover , Repair of Railway under path at Govindsar on Hatli Road , resumption of stoppages at Kathua of Tata Muri, Archna and Kanpur Express trains which were stopped during covid-19, improvement of infrastructure in Govt. Degree College Kathua , renovation and upgradation of Degree College Auditorium, establishment of a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Nagri- Parole , Establishment of an Indoor Sports Stadium in Kathua , construction of a tunnel at Kathera connecting Kathua with Billawar, more funds for houseless under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna ( urban) and construction of bridge connecting Maroli-Mehtabpur with Trda near Lakhanpur.
