Mysuru, Dec 15: At the 62nd National Roller Skating Championship, Ishani Sondhi (Racer No. GJ16) from Lourdes Convent School, Surat delivered a stellar performance under the guidance of her coach, Sabu Betwala, and her training academy, RankOne Skating Rink, Surat.
Sondhi family originally belong to Basoli town of district Kathua of Jammu and Kashmir Union territory,
Representing Gujarat in the cadets category, Ishani secured an impressive three medals—one Gold and two Silver—bringing pride to her state. Out of the four medals won by Gujarat in the cadets category, Ishani alone contributed three, making her achievements a significant highlight of the event.
Medal Achievements:
1. Gold: RINK-II (500+D)
2. Silver: 200m
3. Silver: 1000m
Ishani’s outstanding performance has once again showcased her dedication and talent in the sport, marking her as one of Gujarat’s brightest young skaters.
Ishani is the only girl from Gujarat across all age groups to win a Gold medal at the 62nd National Roller Skating Championship held in Mysuru, Karnataka.
Ex Member J&K Sports Council , Rahil Gupta also congratulated the shinning star.
