Jammu, Nov 22: It is to mention here that once upon a time two DCs, Anshul Garg & Sushma Chouhan as DC Jammu clearly communicated to the FCRs of the time regarding issue of "Gair Mumkin Khad Lands" with clear cut recommendations to resolve the issue & to provide relief the land & house owners of such nomenclature lands, which was appreciated by common masses.
Sushma Chouhan as DC Jammu sent 20 cases to then FCR vide No. 07.01.2020 & 76 cases vide letter No 05.08.2020 totaling to 96 cases for undesired clarification with complete recommendations with proper NOCs from Flood Control Department & Revenue Department with proper site plans but it was learnt that FCR returned back to DC Jammu .
Anshul Garg as DC Jammu vide letter 06.07.2021 also clarified Govt that neither there was a ban nor there is a ban on such lands but reasons best known to the next officer still the issue is hanging in air for its outcome.
Above all it is to mention here that thereafter Administrative Council vide Decision No 17/1/2022 dtd 29th Jan 2022 advised DCs to decide the issue in o3 months but it was not bothered thereafter again Administrative Council headed by LG authorized DCs to resolve the issue on Gair Mumikin Khad Lands upto 200 Kanal in one Khasra No vide ACS Decision No. 98/06/2024 dtd 25th July 2024, had it bothered till day?
But it is also to be seen whether DC Jammu bothered to decide issue of 96 cases recommended by DC office more than 04 years back.
Jammu CCI Team led by Arun Gupta raised issue with CM Omar Abdullah.
Whereas BJP Leader raised issue with Chief Secretary , last week.
