Srinagar, Oct 5: Dr Farooq Abdullah openly said that his party will not align with the Bharatiya Janata Party for Government formation, emphasizing that such a move would be akin to “imminent death.”
Speaking to media persons at his residence, Dr Abdullah remarked that the votes NC received during the recently held Assembly elections were cast against the BJP, and any alliance with them is out of the question.
He added that BJP have committed atrocities against Muslims & do you think we will join them?.
He also dismissed claims that NC leaders, including himself, had met with any BJP leaders for back-channel talks regarding Government formation in J&K.
