Elections or No Elections in J&K : But Race for Mandate picks up in BJP

JAMMU, July 07: Elections will happen in Jammu and Kashmir or not , it is not clear yet as there have been Statements by Ministers/Officials but no Official announcement from Poll Body yet.

However , Race for mandate picked up in Bhartiya Janta Party's J&K unit , especially after high profile visists of BJP National President JP Nadda and Union MInister G Kishan Reddy.


Sources told Cross Town News that defeated and non performers of last Assembly  not to be considered for contesting in 2024 assembly elections.

Sources further added that Search has begun for fresh faces with good public image

Sources who are well placed informed Cross Town News that Senior officers from various wings lobbying for mandate include Bureaucrats, a Chief Engineer , two SSPs ,a serving Judge , Advocates, Doctor and few Media Persons.

Sources said that due representation to be given to women , whereas Daughter of former MP  likely to be considered this time.


Loyal and fresh faces to be given priority , as has been the case always in BJP.
