Jammu, June 28: It is to mention here that once upon a time in the year 2000 Master Plan of Patnitop Dev Authority was notified & as per J&K Development Act of 1970 after every 05 years the Master Plans are needed to be revised but on today 24 years has lapsed & no Officer of PDA never bothered to look into it.
The said undesired & illegal act of all such bosses has stopped new developments in the jurisdiction of PDA due to non revision of Master Plan but may have given handsome earning to officers by allowing illegal constructions without paying building permission fee & if verified each construction wise & violation thereof shall detect a proof of scam on the part of officers.
Few Businessman of Jammu speaking to Cross Town News said that they have applied for permissions for Houses and Hotels and are still waiting as new Master Plan is not being implemented.
They said they want to construct Home stays , which is pilot project by Jammu and Kashmir government to rpmote livelihood as well as Tourism but not getting permission due to old Master plan in Patnitip , Kud and other adjoining areas.
