New Delhi, April 29: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has today apprehended Head Constable of Delhi Police, Delhi while accepting a bribe of Rs. 20000/-from the complainant.
CBI registered a case on complaint against Head Constable of Delhi Police PS- Shahdara, Delhi & unknown others on allegations that accused demanded bribe of Rs. 30,000/- from complainant for allowing him unhindered construction at complainant house.
After negotiations accused agreed to accept Rs. 20,000/-.
CBI laid a trap and caught accused red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000/- from the complainant.
Searches are being conducted at the premises of accused. Investigation is continuing.
